In 1997 the US financed Turkey to kill tens of thousands of Kurds.

Later the US claimed to be liberating the Kurds in Iraq (it was an excuse for the justifying the Iraq war) and now today Bush said he would in fact bomb the Kurds.

And here we have Cheney imparting his never ending words of wisdom:

What a crock of shit...
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

I think it was yesterday. It made news today. Bush is offering to provide air strikes and cruise missiles if necessary to prevent a Turkish invasion on the Kurds.

    ...
Exactly. Don't the Kurds that go from Iraq into Turkey and blow up shit fit the definition of 'Terrorist'... and don't we consider those who harbor terrorists, terrorists? So, since the Kurds are in Northern Iraq... under U.S. Occupation... aren't WE harboring terrorists?
    ...
Shouldn't WE go into Northern Iraq and attack US for 'emboldening' the terrorists and providing them safe harbor? Or should we send our military into America to kill us here.. so, we don't have to fight them there?

  • I'm getting the overwhelming feeling the US isn't going to win a damn thing in the middle east ever without burying the entire eastern hemisphere in nuclear sewage.

When people start chanting for the death of your country at public gatherings, it's time to take a hint and stop meddling with lethal force as base line policy in areas where you're not welcome anymore.

Jesus...talk about get a clue already.
