What is it that Mike does on stage?

I am not knocking him, I love the guy.
But, during concerts, what is that thing he does when he like walks in a straight lines, turns walks in a line again.......Hard to explain but do you know what I mean?
If you been to a show you gotta know.....its like a Rain Man thing? LOL

    I completely know what you are talking about. It's just a Mike thing. As an above user said, he's into his own sort of trance, just feeling the groove!

    A friend of mine who's a musician and used to practice hard drugs told me that when you've been through this music is THE thing that gets you high...
    Check out the solo during Even Flow on Touring Band...kind of Hendrix type of transe...

    Mike is a fucking BADASS on stage (and off stage) and he can do anything he wants!!!

    Yeah, I am sure it is his way of grooving - better than him standing still and not moving at all.

    I love it when Mike points at the crowd!

    exactly what i thought when i read this title - its obvious - he's just zoning out into his tune - i love it - i was smack bang in front of mike at newcastle, and it was bliss (except for whenever ed came over, sorry mike, but i do have to be loyal)

    Mike's got the BEST "guitar face" around! I particularly enjoy the "I gotta Pee!!" and "Oh my god, I just invented a new note!!!" "Did you f'n hear that?!" is a good look, too!!

    He learned his lessons well from the Almost Live Rock n' Roll Fantasy sketch...where you'll learn such great things like "Guitar Face!!!"

    you know I have been noticing that on some of the videos I have seen on youtube; that thing he does with his neck. It's totally cool and I am sure a bit common, (used to keep time kind of?) but funny . I really like it when in the youtube misheard lyrics video, he takes his guitar and looks straight up in the sky while playing it. Does anyone else know what I mean?

    course - he's probably got his own private movie rolling in his head to the tune he's playing

    doesnt anyone else do that - walk along with the ipod blasting, in your own little world with your own little scene rolling along - or im probably the only one that does that - im probably mental, huh :rolleyes:
