The third World War....

Going by the polarity of some people's opinions....

Do you suppose WW3 is completely inevitable in our lifetimes? Is that a ridiculous question....or the very near future?

Does anybody on this board here actually want a world war III? Can anyone yet imagine what that really entails?

Have you ever thought about that lately?

Are we all to fight and and experience the direct effects (or our own deaths?) from war in our lifetimes?

Ever wonder about that?

You know...I thought it would all be different in my lifetime....in my time.

I though I would live in a peaceful society that had learned from it's past.

Am I to live the rest of my very life (as the top US officials in govt have said themselves) until I die and beyond..experiencing...and living in war?

Anybody else starting to think about the current path of proposed existence/business (and forecast therein)?

Talk to me about it.

(sorry I had to edit that for a "T" and a question mark....(Skitch P.))

The optimist in me says: Bush has already used up all our military over there in Iraq, so we can't possibly start another war elsewhere.

The pessimist in me says: Would that really stop him?

well you know Bu when you make so many millions you can hedge up your bet to give it legs if need be.

  • Probably not inevitable. I think it will depend on whether the population boom comes under control or not. If not the disgruntled masses may grow to dangerous levels needing little excuse to go off. But it will be a chaotic conflict, not state vs state if it happens I think.

If things start really heating up, I'll be off to New Zealand.

Edit: Fuck it! I'll be off to Tahiti!
