Guy makes some compelling points. Not all movies do this, as the youtube author points out. However, I think the general ideology and argument holds up fairly well.

Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.
