and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

if you truly can't decide, there are a few things, imo, to take into consideration. The policy differences are really very slight. (Edwards claims he will bring home troops much faster which is not only, imo, irresponsible, its also impossible. Obama's approach is both responsible and realistic and at least he's honest about it). At some point viability and electability have to become an issue. Edwards recieved a mere 4% in Nevada and is currently running a distant third place in his home state of SC. Really, let's be honest, he is on Kucinich's heels. This is not a dig on John Edwards, nor is it an attempt to influence your decision (well maybe it is a little ;) ), it is simply food for thought.

i'm not suggesting you should. i thought i made it clear.

But, maybe you should practice something with me. Say it slowly at first as it may be traumatizing at first. Repeat it over and over until you become more comfortable with it... "President Romney... President Romney... President Romney"

Bummer. I would have liked to at least vote for him in our primary. :(

  • I'm pretty disgusted/disappointed that Kucinich is out so soon. I had some real hope for this guy, and it would have been nice to see him get more out of it, to make a decent round of it, and to be more fulfilling in his career/life.

I think after the recount, a part of his spirit died.

I be he's getting some scorching good consolation sex no doubt...

On a positive note, at least now he will have time to run for president of his home country. On Mars.

    That sucks :(

I think he was my fav. Not that what I think counts. But I liked him.....even tho he did remind me of Marv Albert in a back-biting kinda way.
  • I'm pretty disappointed in him and/or how he ran his campaign. While I agree with most of his views, some things are just viewed by the (idiotic) masses as extreme. I'm not sure what he could have done better....but I'm disappointed that the candidate I would have voted for is done. Now, let's hope Edwards can pick up some steam and get something going.

Does anyone else get his e-newsletters? His last one sounded a bit desperate; it sounded as if corporate interest groups were pounding him hard to drive him out, not only the presidential candidacy, but Congress altogether. It made me ill. Here's a portion of it.
Right now I'm under attack by corporate interests, most of them from the city of Cleveland, who have an agenda that has nothing to do with the people of my community, nor with most people in this country. And so what I'm asking you to do is to help me stay in Congress, so that I can continue to represent the people of my community, the state of Ohio and the United States of America...Already television commercials are flooding the Cleveland airwaves with a message that is designed to try to knock me out of office. I've served with honor and dignity in the United States House of Representatives. I've led the effort against the war... cannot stress strongly enough, the importance of you responding immediately. We need to go on TV immediately to answer the kind of attacks that are occurring. I want to thank you for the great support you've shown me over the years. But I can tell you that now more than ever your support is going to be essential so that I can continue our work in the United States Congress.
  • Shirley MacLaine, in effect, killed Dennis Kucinich.

This fall, Ms. MacLaine revealed in her new book that the Ohio congressman had seen a UFO and felt "a connection in his heart and heard directions in his mind."

    American democracy at work.

The only candidate worth voting for drops out.

Do they want a revolution? Seems to be the only way towards social progress.
