Should hit the media pretty soon.

I bet you Saddamm will come back to life to help with the recount. Soon after, Bush is going to admit to 9/11 and Bernanke is going to reveal his communist past.
The less you know, the more you believe.

if you spent more time educating yourself and less time ridiculing people who obviously know more about reality than you do,maybe you could help bring some fucking respect back to our nation.

Very unlikely on the first two...you just never know about the third ;)

Rumor has it there are people on airplanes right now flying into NH to get the recount officially underway.

It's not Just Ron Paul. This also benefits Obama as there was a 7% swing vote in favor of Hillary that has lot of people wondering exactly what's up. A few of the zero vote towns now have had enough people come forward to merit this.

In any event. Regardless of which candidate you choose , everyone should be supporting this.

  • Albert Howard is the man heading up the recount. It is rumored that $11,000 of the $12,000 needed has already been raised by a third party group.

Albert Howard knows RP's mentors are great people like MLK and Ghandi and he supports him 100%.

Let's hope no one is swapping in fraudulent voting cards in the meantime.

You don't know the details of the situation. If you did, you would realize.

You bought up some tired old propaganda, that has already been explained over and over again for the past decade.

    it looks to be true.
the ronpaul forums have it as fact that a candidate flew up last night to sign off on the recount.

    Grannywarriors has already raised 11k.

    That is verifiable.

What are they hoping to accomplish? Raise his 7% to 7.001%?

Apparently, it is Kucinich calling for the recount.

    http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/01/11/kucinich-calls-for-new-hampshire-recount/

if anybody has anything to lose in this scenario, its Clinton. someone mentioned it earlier in another thread, and i do worry about the potential of shadiness with these voting machines. i'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but i must admit it seems fishy to me that the republican polls were spot on (it was nearly exactly as the polls predicted), and the democratic polls were off so terribly. Seems weird. i say let 'em recount. Doesn't hurt. Probably wouldn't change anything if they votes WERE tampered with, but, it may just send a message to anyone *cough* Hillary Clinton *cough* about considering shady tactics in the future.

    Recounts are by party.
I believe Kucinich is calling for one on the democratic side.

The republican recount is being intiated by someone named Albert Howard, whom i know nothing about. here is the Ronpaulforums article as well

I am also reading that this is all probably moot, because there are serious problems with chain of evidence. Namely there is a big problem with how the actual ballots are handled after election day, an by whom they are handled.

    Anyhow,
so are you done making fun of me over this?
Or you still think its a bunch of bullshit that some kooks made up?

Kucinich is looking to get on Obama's good side, so he's taking one for the team.

i wasn't making fun of you on this issue, per se. Just having a go, really. Honestly, i can see where it would be prudent in the case of the democrats. Running out of ballots in some places, the polls being so far off, a VERY narrow 2% point differential, etc. all makes for a somewhat fishy scenario. On the republican side, however, the polls were spot on. Almost precisely accurate (which also contributes to the fishy smell on the other side), and Paul lost with only 7% of the vote. Lets be honest, just what are the Ron Paul folks hoping to accomplish except maybe to stress integrity? That i can get behind. Other than that, i just don't get it.

If its all about integrity, i'm all for it. i don't think RP folks are crazy (except for thinking he can actually win or would be able to deliver a damn thing). To a certain degree i can appreciate their tenacity. Its a shame to me however that they waste all that fervor.

    How is it a waste?

Who should they vote for instead... Obama?

Have you taken the time to look into who his advisor's are?

Its a waste because he has no chance of winning. i don't care who you or anyone else votes for, thats your perogative as a voter.

Personally, yes, i think its well documented around here that i think Barack Obama is America's best choice fir leadership. Contrary to what others have said about him, he has refused lobbyist and special interest money, is dead set against the war in Iraq advocating phased removal of troops (the only way it will work), and restoration of our civil liberties. His ideas for improving healthcare and asuring it for all Americans will actually work. He has spent time in the trenches as a civil rights lawyer as well as in other ways (check his bio yourself). Contrary to all Clinton's talk of experience, remember, he has more time (11yrs) of elective service than she does (8yrs). This man is a sincere and true LEADER. Most importantly, he has a legitimate shot at not just winning a nomination, but the general election as well. Its fairly safe to say, not just according to my belief, but polls as well, that he beats EVERY republicam in the running. He is a uniter. He is not polarizing or divisive which is EXACTLY what it will take to actually get shit done and end the political gidlock that has existed for so long. In addition he is the type of charismatic diplomat that will restore our rapport with the rest of the world.

Diplomacy from Washington...its been so long I doubt they know how anymore. Negotiation is for the weak unfortunatley, and the US rarely indulges nations when there is conflicting interests involved. Maybe Obama will, who knows.

What he's offering is the best chance we have to transform Washington from the inside out for the benefit of Americans and restore our esteem both domestcaly and internationally.
