"Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani said amid concerns about the weakness of the US dollar in recent months, the oil-rich Persian Gulf littoral state would shift away Qatari riyal from the US currency over the next six months.

He suggested a link to a basket of currencies as an alternative to avert further losses from the dwindling dollar which has fallen 16.2 percent against a basket of major currencies since two years ago.

Meanwhile, Qatar's Energy Minister has confirmed depreciation of the dollar has affected all energy producers. "
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

It had to happen really, the dollars only going to drop further with low interest rates.
Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.
