"In a secret meeting with a Taliban commander, I learned how Bush administration aid to Pakistan helps fund insurgents who kill U.S. troops."

Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

Similarly, there was a recent article in Rolling Stone about the surge in Iraq and how it is not working and the money behind it.
According to the article, "all told, the US Is now backing more than 600,000 Iraqi men in the security sector". These folks are "former sinpers and assassins...the men the Americans described as terrorists." In one district, we are handing out "32 MILLION dollars" to Iraqis.

Clearly, the answer to the problems is to throw more money at it. (sarcasm)
Once the money goes away? Then what happens?
When is an insurgent not an insurgent?
Why, when the United States is paying them, of course.
