Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

this guy speaks of change through regression.
this guy has offered no detailed plans.

He is only running as a Republican because the Libertarian Party is a mess, they need to get their shit together. Also it is very expensive and time consuming for 3rd party candidates to get on electoral ballots in all 50 states. If you examine his policy compared to the Republican Party you would see that he is far from a Republican.

The man has a history, just look at his voting record, of sticking to his promises. That is more than any other candidate, on either side of the aisle, can say. So please explain to me how he is lying?

you honestly think he will release the soldiers that are guarding the oil fields immediately.

why wouldnt he just be honest now and say hes not going to rather than lying just to win people like yourself over.

    EMPTY PROMISES MAMMASAN.

and until you learn about all candidates running...you should leave your generalizations that no other candidate sticks to his promises out of your posts. people like yourself who read your posts end up believing untruths and it pains me :)

stop being a fan of a candidate!

I believe him because his track record speaks for itself. If you knew anything about the man and his career you would realize that as weel. Even people who constantly disagree with Paul's politics have said that he is a man who sticks to his principles and fights for what he believes in. I know it's hard to believe but he is actually an honest politicians who doesn't take a stance on a position simply because it will gain him more votes.

I have read extensively on all candidates. So I can say that as much as I please, I should have stated that Kucinich is also a man of honesty and integritu but he has zero chance of being president so I over-looked him. Just because you don't want to believe what a candidate has to say doesn't mean it's an untruth. You seem like a decent fellow but you have that superiority complex which leads you to believe that you know better than the rest. It's highly unflattering and really renders you a moron. You are not infalable and your perceptions are not the sole truth. So please for your own sake stop acting like you know everything or know more than the rest of us. There are a great deal of intelligent well read people on this board and if you give them a chance you may actually learn something.

Thanks for the reality injection. RP even makes several references to running 3rd party and why he isn't. Sometimes it's really obvious when people just don't get it.

he may or may not. But along with Kucinich, he's the most likely to do so. I don't want a liberatarian in the white house, but he's more anti-war than any viable Democrat or Republican. There's no question there. He also has a more admirable history of honesty and sticking with his principles than the others. I'm not going to vote for him if he wins the nomination, but if the war was my one and only issue, I'd have no justification not do (barring a miraculous Kucinich run).
I cannot come up with a new sig till I get this egg off my face.
