Why did the Iraq war really happen?

Was it because Saddam started selling oil in Euro's. Hmmmm....

    I have been making that point since the war started. Iran has already started selling oil for Euros and it seems that history will repeat itself.

    Been saying for awhile that if Iran was to switch to Euros that I would be very interested in how American foreign policy would play out as a response.
