15% smaller, and the price has also increased. Not to panic, the rest of the world remains unaffected, and can still enjoy the regular 1.4 ounce size. :D

Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

  • Hmmm, I wonder how this well affect Canada since we would included in the rest of the world yet sometimes get included into other things US related and since we have 'Free Trade' *throws up a little in mouth* do our Cadbury eggs come from there??? No my guess would have to be that Cadbury makes them here.

great now I am going to be up all night pondering this  :p

really I must stop having coffee at night, booze or no booze :o

So anyway, here in Oz, home of Cadbury ;) the creme eggs have been getting smaller for years. They don't make me nearly as sick now as they did as a kid!!! :D

But I'm really not sure what size they are now.

Course if you gotta hankering for larger, I know where I can get you a supply!!! ;)
    NOPE!!!

The original Cadburys chocolate factory is in Birmingham, England.
John Cadbury started the buisness as a grocery shop, in Bull St in 1824, then by 1831 went into the manufacture of drinking chocolate and so on and so forth.;):)

Edit: is Creme Eggs really AMT material?:D

Another Edit: nope, I did'nt read the thread fully before getting defensive of our nations heritage.;):D

I've also been to Bourneville!! that guy was a visionary :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

"they haven't gotten smaller, you've gotten bigger". ha ha bullsh*t :D

Actually, what Cadbury is doing is what just about every food product seems to be doing...giving the customer less but charging the same amount. It's their way of charging the consumer more without it being obvious. Next time you buy Pringles, see how far from the top of the can the chips are actually at. They used to go up to the top, not anymore. Same with other products; you think you're buying the same old 1/2 gallon of ice cream, but if you look closer, the container is less than a 1/2 gallon.

Maybe Ireland is the basis where all of reality springs from....you know: "as in Ireland, so outside Ireland"....or something like that.

    Aparently quite recently:

Why do they always take something perfect and say: "well if it's already so amazing....then it should be the easiest product to skim $$$ off the top and no one will notice.

Death to this corporate greed mindset!

...besides Hershey's chocolate always did have a really crappy waxy texture.
