Am I missing something but where and when do vinyl's get sold expecially when and where did Benaroya become available and how much was it.
When they first are released, PJ vinyls are available throught 10C and usually local record stores. They are now mostly in limited #'s and sell out quickly. Now the only place to find them are record stores (if you're lucky) or on ebay. Benaroya hall was released June 19, 2004 through 10C to members only for $35+shipping It sold out very quickly and unfortunately the only place to find them now are on ebay for a very pretty penny ($400-500 opened or $700-800 sealed)

purchased my Benaroya Hall vinyl from the 10C 14 hours after the sale began, 15 minutes before it sold out, and on DIAL UP no less lol
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

Gosh, this makes me wish I had more obsessed with Pearl Jam back in the day!!! This is the only vinyl I need. You people make me sick.
considering i wasn't one of the clever few (sale time was never announced) to stay up late and try for the record when it went on sale at 10C's website right at 12am PST i don't think i fall under the "obsessed" category. when i woke up and checked the status of the sale ~7am i read horror posts about the website crashing and i didn't even bother to check the website until after 4pm, and the rest is history. having actually been at the Benaroya Hall concert i'm glad to have had the chance to purchase the vinyl,...

i can honestly say that i don't believe it's a matter of "right" as it is a matter of privilege. i was privileged to be able to attend the Benaroya Hall concert and privileged to be able to purchase the vinyl.
Benaroya was an AMAZING experience though. watching each band member drive up and into the venue in their cars was an interesting experience to say the least lol not to mention my having sense on the walk back to the hotel after the show to NOT step into the intersection when i heard a loud thunder from what turned out to be the engine of Matt Cameron's M3 speeding my way

not necessarily. people who went to the concert got to enjoy actually being there. give others a chance.
agreed, although being there and owning the vinyl are two different things. see my previous post above,...
