    i want one........
  • yeah.
i think this (references to MDI and the air car, not the video) was posted on here a few years ago ...

i remember checking the MDI website and he was still actively soliciting investors and what not ...

looks like he has made significant progress.

    :D

i haven't watched this video here yet, but when i hear of new car ideas, i always revert to thinking about my old ecologicaly minded "buddy", amory lovins, and his "Hyper Car"

you just have to remember, WHAT is compressing the air?

    uh ... doh ... oil.
    :(
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?
  • can't wait!!!! it's so badass!
This isn't the land of opportunity, it's the land of competition.
  • yeah.

It could go solar and wind. It all has to go solar and wind. At least if we reduce it substantially and perhaps use natural gas instead. Ver very do-able in my opinion.

It's being squashed. If Bush is touting reducing oil consumption then why not toss this guy a spare billion?

    hmm

until I see sails billowing, it isn't air powered. Besides, aren't all internal combustion engines already air powered, technically.

Dude, watch the video. You can plug it into an outlet for 4 hours to fill up. Electricity powers the on board compressor. Electricity comes from dams, nuclear plants and so on.
