There is another guy who is fairly well convinced that mushrooms could save the world, though i'm not sure he was talking about the same kind of mushrooms, if you catch my flow.
Great book though, positing that hallucinogenic mushrooms were the actual origins of human consciousness\awareness and of original religion and mother culture\society ... very cool stuff.
