I'm going to guess that the people who get their news from "Facebook memes" are the same people who believe that.....

    Hillary did it
    Obama did it
    Bill did it
    Democrats are to blame
The press is the enemy of the people
    Newtown didn't happen
    9/11 was a govt. plot
Jews run the worlds financial systems
Obama is coming to take your guns
    Etc etc etc

My limited time is probably spent mostly on Drudge.  I don't have TV, and my only internet is my data plan on my phone.

The Drudge Report started in 1995 as a gossip column focusing on Hollywood and Washington D.C.

They've come a long way, right?

Honestly, I get most of it from here and the AP and then I vet it here.

I'm lazy and the good folks on this forum do my due diligence for me lol

It's really nice being liberal, no matter how many times conservatives cry about fake news, the plain truth is that far, far less fake and false news circulates in leftist circles, even the extreme ones.
Conservatives are constantly having to fact check and can't share a meme or image without it blowing up in their face as a photoshopped lie.
The de facto head of conservatism lies dozens of times a day and it isn't even permissable to use fact checking sites as they all suffer from the liberal bias of reality.

It's tough to be a conservative and be informed.

Those are my main ones to be honest.  I also peruse the other mains to fill in the blanks.  I like a variety to help me decide what is reality, agendas, etc.  Going strictly liberal or conservative is not opening your mind but rather feeding your position.  I like opening my mind.

Somehow, I forgot to mention BBC.  So really, two of my favorite news sources come out of the UK- BBC and the Guardian.

But you chose a right wing gossipy site. It is not at all surprising, hence the responses you’ve gotten.

If I had to choose one, I would say Wall Street Journal.

Top story on Drudge right now is about what performers said about Trump at............the MTV awards last night (which apparently still happens every year).

Culture war, gossipy nonsense, designed to rile people up.

Hahaha when you are as far right as a typical Drudge reader, WSJ is the equivalent of a direct newsletter from the ghost of Marx.

Yeah. I actually look at Drudge fairly regularly just to see what that side's talking points will look like. You get links to actual news articles but it's mixed in with so much garbage that the casual readers think the garbage is actually newsworthy.
