Two young men running against McCain....two young men opposed to the occupation of Iraq....two young men trying to make a difference.
Jim Webb, Senator of Virginia, former-military...
What might they do to McCain's Independent votes? To the center and left-leaning Repubs who are anti-Iraq?
Hmmm....

Not bad.
I still like Obama-Biden.
not sure... i think barack would hitch his VP wagon to someone more seasoned... but who knows

Yeah, that's my thinking too... Obama's big criticism is lack of foreign policy experience and lack of experience in general. I'd like Biden, but think he'd make a better Sec of State.
Just on merits alone, I'd like Richardson as a choice. While it might help him pick up some Latino voters that he is struggling to get, a hispanic and a black guy on the same ticket might be a tough sell in some areas.

Actually I do like the idea of Biden, I think he could really hammer Huckabee or Guilani in a VP debate. The only thing about him is he's a loose cannon. Dont know if I trust him to not screwup.
I agree that Richardson is good but Ihave to second what others are saying about having a black and a hispanic on the same ticket. Same reason why Hillary would be a bad choice. Politically speaking of coarse. I think they're both fine choices myself.
Evan Bahy might make a good choice, but the problem with that is they are from neighboring states, strategically that might be a bad idea.
I think Tom Daschle provides the most balanced choice and if i had to guess I would say that is who it will be.
Biden I like, but puts his foot in his mouth too often. Richardson would be ideal in a colorblind world, but for reasons already stated couldn't be part of an Obama ticket.
I don't like the Daschle idea. He's very partisan, and wouldn't do anything to help Obama capture left-leaning Republicans or Independents.
good combination
