must you piss on my parade? i live in a very red portion of a blue state. there was another event in springfield that was much bigger, but i chose to attend the smaller one. our group was only 14 people.

Don't be shy to just call it what it was, an AA meeting. That's nothing to be ashamed of.

So brutalize me with music.”

Hopefully all 100,000 give more money than they already have.
A big plus for Obama right now too is that a great deal of Hillary's money may be fully reserved for the general.
the average donation for hillary was $520, the average obama donation was $250. one way to read this stat is to predict that lots of obama donors aren't maxed out yet, which makes them more likely to donate again.
yeah, he actually outraised her in terms of primary money. he's reporting 23.5, she's saying 20 for herself. he also beat her in online fundraising by a couple of million dollars.

There's no question that he and Romney were the big winners in the fundraising race so far. McCain and Brownback really lost out and Edwards could have some trouble if he doesn't pick it up.

no kidding. what the fuck happened to senator straight talk? he's doing the thing where he gives his top fundraisers gang names, too. maybe he thought mccain-feingold was a multiethnic law firm when he signed onto it. now he's said that he's going to formally "relaunch" his campaign. he must be shitting his depends. that little stroll through bagdhad looked a bit silly, too. i'd feel pretty safe if i went to get my morning coffee surrounded by 100 marines with a couple of apache helicopters.

His campaign seemed to be finished in 2001. McCain-Feingold was definitely a good start for him to make sure that all of his supporters couldn't support him so well anymore.

maybe he should look to expand his donor base.

with his support of the surge, i'm not sure what his options are as far as going for more moderate or left-of-center votes. even if the surge actually works, real benefits might not be evident for up to a year, which might be too late for him. if the surge fails, i don't see how he gets the nomination.

At one point he said he would drop out if the surge failed. I think he has softened that statement a bit since then.

hey, you made a funny. that's neat.
also:
obama recieved donations from 100,000 individuals. this total is greater the the number of hillary donors(50,000) and edwards donors(40,000) combined.
holla.

He could go to some less conservative donors.
Are you kidding? He could never win, his family had ties to Saddam!

if the surge fails dramatically and a withdrawal begins before this time next year, he's done.
if the surge doesn't work, he'll complain it was due to the fact that we sent "only" 24,000 troops instead of the 35,000 he was calling for.
