    awesome. I was recently wondering what happened there. See the LA Forum shows in 2006 - Ed mentions that PJ donated some cash from those shows specifically to help Surfrider lobby against this proposed turnpike... which would have destroyed protected wetlands and a local legendary surf beach.

    (also see those shows as among the best, tightest performances that year - I still listen to those at least once a month - love "I must not think bad thoughts")
