Ah the irony of politics...

She's actually right though.
But, I would bet it is more likely to work in reverse, and she would actually lose pledged delegates instead of vice versa.

Technically, she may be correct, but, its a deplorable example of how this woman would undermine our democratic practices, divide the nation, and stop at nothing to achieve power. i just don't understand how anyone could support this family.
Seriously, why vote? Whats the point?
Bill needs to start sleeping around publicly again... At least that was a fun Clinton...

Obama isn't the one trying to undermine our democracy. If you don't like the guy, thats fine. But there is no way you can say, in good conscience, that Obama is employing the same kind of "me or no one" tactics as the clintons.
Clinton is basically saying "fuck the American people". i think it is perfectly reasonable to say "No, fuck you, Hillary! Fuck you and your loudmouth piece of shit lying husband". So i will. Fuck 'em both.
Yes. She does. i concur, fuck her.
I think in ways he is, actually. But yes, Hillary is much more blatant and over the top with hers.
Obama is more subtle...I don't like either of them. So I'm going to keep expressing that in the same way you guys express your understandable dislke for Hillary.

Could you please explain how you think Obama is like Clinton in relation to tactics like these? I think if any other candidate essentially said the popular vote is worthless they'd be run out of town. I have no idea why Clinton is allowed to say things like this and somehow stays in the race.
For the love of christ, if you come back with something about his pastor, his being a muslim, or his wife hating america, I'm just gonna lose it...

For the record, i have not and do not chastise abook for not supporting Barack Obama. Whereas i may not agree with her reasons for not doing so, i completely respect her convictions, her sticking to 'em, and her right to support whoever she chooses. i think she knows that.
Also, on the record, i'm quite sober. Fuck hilary clinton. Fuck her with a big, fat, hand wrapped, blackberry brandy dipped, Cuban cigar.
Lose it all you want. I don't see why you would think I would bring up any of those issues to this point. I have never said a peep about any of those except the pastor issue and even then I said it wasn't a big issue or a vote changing issue but that there was room for discussion on the matter. So flip out and go wild all you want...knock yourself out but next time try to be a bit more familiar with my posts before assuming.
And I didn't say he used the same tactics as Hillary. My point was that he didn't...his tactics are much more subtle, like making himself out to be this huge anti Iraq war guy when he's simply not and never has been. His record speaks for itself. And how he claims to be so against predatory lending but yet he is heavily contributed to by people inside that very industry and voted against capping credit card rates at 30%. He says he's against the patriot act but voted to reenact it....it's all kinds of things where he says one thing but does another. There was a whole thread on it. That undermines democracy, as well, but not in a blatant Hillary way (and yes, she uses both methods) It fools the population into thinking he is someone who he isn't. So people are voting for this guy based on what he's saying and it's anybody's guess if they'll be getting what they think they are. But if his past record is any sign.....

Oh I wasn't implying those are arguments you use, those just seem to be the go-to arguments for anti-Obama people. I see your points, certainly there are areas I might not agree with, but I see where you're coming from. I still do not see how these attack the very fundamental piece of democracy the way Hillary is in this instance.

I disagree about those arguments being the main ones used. They are simply the main ones replied to by Obama supporters. The threads with the real issues drop like flies.
By fooling the public into believing you stand for something you don't ( in my eyes) you're doing a disservice to democracy. Democracy is where the people choose who best represents their views and votes for them. How can their views be truly represented if they aren't getting all the info they need in the news and the candidates are all telling them what they want to hear? instead of being truthful?

Ok I hear you, and I'm definitely not trying to say Obama is without areas of concern. To me, he's still the best possible guy.
In relation to Hillary's "Fuck what the populace wants" attitude, I don't see his issues as being so blatantly against the fundamentals of Democracy. If people vote for him based on false promises and he does the opposite, that's another story. But to simply say the vote doesn't matter is a bigger issue, I feel.

How would your vote have mattered if the guy doesn't do what you voted him in to do? Sly, to me, is worse than blatant.
