The Presedential election process

I really feel that the Pres election process should be changed.
I think the presidential candidates should choose their cabinet before the election.
I don't think Bush would have been re-elected if people knew his cabinet was going to change. I think it is an important part of the entire presidency and should be chosen as a whole.
Any thoughts?

...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.
I disagree... if the people who voted for Bush could overlook everything else that his administration has fucked up, knowing who would be in his new cabinet wouldn't have changed anything.
And this isn't a shot at Republicans, but more about our voting public as a whole, most people couldn't even name two cabinet members for any president.

This is exactly right. Few people even know who the VP running mate is. Almost nobody would pay attention to the cabinet choices. It would have a negligible effect on the process.
they still need to be confirmed by elected officals
Tell me, do you view the UN as a sovereign body?
