This soapbox (this post) comes from commondreams.org:

We've been taken over by dumb violent sado-hicks:

Look at the pigs faces. Doesn't shock you, the stupidity?

"That cesspool is becomes you,
Just north of the eyebrows."

And now to make this a participatpry thread, has anyone here ever had any involvment in protests? Recently?

Any protest stories?

I live in cow country hundreds of miles, literally, from any major metropolitan arena - so I've never attented a protest. Since Bush got elected, since the Iraq war got up on the auction block - I've had a serious intention to rebel in any way I can.

I think more people should, I think the whole country should up in arms about the recent removal of habious corpus from our law.

Treason, seems rampant. Treason, ripe with decay.

Treason = Terrorism.
Terrorism = Counter-Terrorism.

Connect the dots people.

This neo-con near-death stigma mentality that has taken over. It's making me, personally more furious every day - and yet I sit and type harder and faster at my computer to no avail.

I'm sure many of you feel like I do. I'm sure many feel sympathy and empathy for those protesters.

Any stories of inspiration from board members? I'm really eager to hear of some brave, dare I say inspirational protest. I know it's going around all the time, but does anyone here have any more personal thoughts?
