I saw this Amy Chua lady on a CSpan sitdown interview show (like Charlie Rose style) and not only did she know her shit, and was literate speaking about it, but also if you can't tell from the title, what she speaks about is highly relevant to your question.

Good film, i watched it last night.
The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.
i've been wanting to see this for a while. unfortunately if it's not available on netflix i usually don't get to see it.
a friend of mine has tried to get me to watch this so i read a little about it and read something about 9/11 conspiracies and they pretty much lost me right there. maybe i'll reconsider.
