Just when I thought Catholicisim could never again be funny...I ran accross this on one of the blogs I read: http://www.irvinehousingblog.com

Hank Paulson, who art in Washington,
hallowed by thy name.
Thy fiefdom come,
thy will be done,
transfering wealth from Main St. to Wall St.
Give us this day all your bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we foreclose on those indebted to us.
And lead us not into solvency,
but deliver us from bankruptcy.
For thine is the fiefdom, the power and the glory.
For ever and ever. Amen.

This whole thing is a huge mess. Guilty parties will be forgiven in whatever form this thing takes. For sure the ones that will get off are the people who leveraged hand-over-fist knowing that they did not now or (in reality) would ever have the means to pay it back.

Clearly it was something that the people did not stand behind, yet both Obama and McCain pushed it until the very end. IMO, it is just cause to vote for neither this coming election. Democracy has truly failed.

democracy seems to be something the US authorities do everything in the power to eradicate.

I'm with you, hard to vote for either guy.
  • once again americans are left with a choice of two village idiots ;)
I have faced it, A life wasted...

Take my hand, my child of love
    Come step inside my tears
    Swim the magic ocean,
I've been crying all these years
