    i just mentioned this to my 7 year old and she just relayed that scene out of the simpsons episode between him and homer. something about nachos and football. she included the trip over the gutter and the dohs.

    please tell me I'm not the only one thinking of Dana Carvey impersonating Tom Brokaw on SNL saying "Gerald Fohhrrd, dead today at the age of h'eighty three, he was mauled senselessly by a circus lion" - because I remember it well although it was from TEN YEARS AGO.

    I live in Grand Rapids and am heading down to take a picture of that lone candle burning at the Ford Museum in his memory.

    I'm hoping for some archived footage of the various spills the guy was famous for.

    But yeah, he was a yes-man for the most part. Probably why he was on the Warren Commission too.
