...........drunk as hell celebrating Obama's win. I hope he's a happier man now that Bush will be gone. I miss the happier Ed. Take care everyone.

  • Yay we are saved. The white night rides in! Honestly I don't see this as a time for celebration. What are we celebrating? There is relief a republican is out after the last 8 years. But everyone seems to be acting like everything is gonna be fine and Obama can fix everything. I hope for the best from the next administration but the same general policies will be the same, I don't think anything major is gonna change. I guarantee Ed knows this, and is not happy and content for the next 4 years just because Bush and the repubs are out. Still a lot of work to do.

And I bet he's damn proud of his Jammers as well. I can almost feel the slap of his hand on my shoulder followed by, "Good job in the booth today, Sponger. PJ is proud to have you as a fan. You did good...you did good."
  • i hope he slows down the speeches about politics at PJ shows

and lets face it...the fact that GW was in for 8 years certainly gave ev a lot to write about, coupled with the fact that it was driven by anger...it sure made for some great songs! ill miss those bushleager moments :(

sometimes a happy songwriter doesn't produce the best work...torment, anger and aggression can be a good thing for some artists

but um yeah ed is happy now...and so am i

    change was needed

Yup, I hope the bug has been officially removed from Ed's butt. Now it is time for the boys to get back in the studio!

Nah. This is baby steps for his beliefs. I think he'll go back to supporting the Green party.
  • don't worry in a year or 2 he will be writing songs about Obama and pissing people off at concerts with his "rants" about how we need to get rid of his uncle tom ass.
