  • Why not give Texas, California, New Mexico and Arizona back to Mexico. That territory was illegally taken. I'm sure Jordan took it illegally before it was part of Israel as well. The law is made by the victors.

I'm sure you can figure that one out without my help. Go hop in your car and think about it.

any answer i can think of contradicts your initial response - so, i'm gonna need your help ... if you could be so kind
  • The point is that it's okay to take land in the 19th Century but not in the 20th? That's stupid. Taking is taking. Why don't we just declare all the countries in the world a "do-over" and just start from scratch? Let's start with giving the Dakotas and Nebraska back to the Sioux nation, since it was "illegally" taken. Damn come to think of it, all of us American invaders and occupiers need to give our country back to the original inhabitants.

we killed most of the original inhanbitants. israel has yet to do that, so the war is still going on. the blood is still shedding.

Israel has yet to win. not only that, they continue to grab land. so your exmaple does'nt quite fit this issue.

Or maybe just start according the original inhabitants the same rights and privileges as everyone else, and cease stealing more and more of their land? You could also begin releasing all the native American Political prisoners who are currently being held in your jails.

because politicians, by and large, are foocking twats!
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

 It wasn't well said at all. He didn't explain himself, and nobody but him is any the wiser. Or is it that you are both from some kind of hick town where everyone speaks in some kind of cryptic gibberish intelligible only to those with enough toxic cow dung up their nostrils?
  • boxwine_in_hell, there really isn't an absolute answer to your argument. It's all situational, I mean, you wouldn't want to put all of Russia, Central Asia, Korea, and China under Mongolia's rule because Genghis Khan once ruled that land 800 years ago, huh?

But at the same time, in a situation like Palestine, the Israelis have clearly illegally invaded the land and expelled much of its population (if not killed off), and is occupying even more land.

I guess, at the end, nobody has a religious right to control the land, but since for the last 1500 Muslims have been the very predominant majority in Palestine, it is they who are in the right.
    Just support Obama, damn it.
