Ever feel bored thinking of things political?
I think Jimi had the right idea.
Sometimes you've just gotta say 'Fuck it!' and turn up the music.
"Move over, Rover
and let Jimi take over"
"White collar conservative flashin' down the street
Pointin' their plastic finger at me, ha !
They're hopin' soon my kind will drop and die but uh
I'm gonna wave my freak flag high, high !
Oww !
Wave on, wave on...
Ah, ha, ha
Fall mountains, just don't fall on me
Walk on mister business man, you ain't dressed like me
Yeah!"

this could be the day

Hmm, yeah, some songs have political lyrics, but they're still music. Music gets your head into another space, where politics blunts your imagination and chips away at your sense of humour.
Not that anyone can ever escape politics - we are all enmeshed in it to some extent, except maybe the odd feral child.
Engaging in things Political is like eating a McDonalds - it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
politics doesnt blunt my imagination. it does however give me a headache sometimes though.

He already has. We just haven't realised it yet. Jimi will be worshipped like Siddartha in a few hundred years time, we're just too stupid at the moment to fully understand his greatness.
