its unfucking believeable that the world stands by and does nothing. Where is the UN or NATO? should everyone point the finger at the US and say "you do it" ? this is a world issue and should be dealt with by kofi annan. what the fuck has he done for the world. the UN is joke. and its very sad that its happening. I hope the US bombs the islamic janjaweed fucks and leave em right where they die. those fucks

I do agree that this is something the U.N. needs to do, it can't and shouldn't be just the U.S. I would like to see Bush and Bolton exert a bit more of what's left of our influence to move the U.N. in that direction.

I also agree that the U.N. is making itself ridiculous. If they can't take decisive action in the face of something like this, or what happened in Rwanda, then what the hell good are they? The idea of the United Nations is a good one, but in practice it often seems to be a waste of good real estate.

I care very much. I had threads running all over the site to raise awareness and signatures. I was up all night trying to get petitions signed and unfortunately, the Ninetendo thread got more replies than my threads. I even have the petition on my signature.

I think you actually were one who signed the petition and Har kept them alive for a few days. She even did the walk to get attention to this horrible massacre.

I feel totally hopeless and don't even know what else we can do. We will sadly witness a carnage of biblical proportion in the next few years.

I do want to thank my sister and her husband for donaing $10,000 dollars directly to Amnesty.

Thank you for your words. I did see many signatures from this forum. I just wish there was more I can do. I feel totally helpless. I am going to write a letter to Anderson Cooper and thank him again so profusely for his compassion. This is his calling in life..what a great human being.

Yea I like him too. he is a good reporter.

It scares me that there is no international body that can or WILL handle a situation like this. the united nations simply ignores this. It makes no sense to me. you are a good person for what you are doing. stay strong

there is no oil in darfur...

so that must mean the United nations is only concerned with oil. comments like yours are so fucking useless.
