Yet another example of how the Congress wastes time and money when it's run by Republicans. But impeach Bush for the multiple offenses he's made in office? No way, man!

more money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than the Enron fiasco-one of the biggest corporate rippoffs in history.

The Gov't so has its priorities in order.

Impeached or not, it was the best thing to have happened to Hillary. It boosted her popularity, standing by her man. Now she gets to be the first female president in '08, can't wait.

surprise surprise, I don't think he should have been impeached.

BUT, what really irritates me is how the drive by media has brainwashed everyone into thinking he was impeached for getting a blow job.

He was impeached because of lying (and obstruction of justice) about sex in a sexual harrassment trial. If this was a Republican, you can only imagine the backlash in the drive by media.
And you ask me what I want this year
And I try to make this kind and clear

When Bush or Cheney are called to serve as a defendant in a trial, this may be relevant!

and testifying to the 9/11 commission isn't? several on the commission believed they were lying about certain things....so why not testify under oath and not behind closed doors?

the 911 commission was a joke. are you seriously equating that to being formally indicted on a charge of sexual harrassment?

think about it...the 911 commission is all about assigning blame for not connecting the dots. the same people now are preventing us from even finding the dots. again, it's a joke.

nevertheless...they were asked to testify to the commission and bush and cheney refused to:
-testify unless they did it together
-didn't have to be under oath
    -out of the public eye

so why not go under oath? maybe b/c cheney told a few lies like that he called bush a few times while it was happening (which we all know to be a lie as we've all seen the footage of bush sitting there reading 'my pet goat'

like any decisions, you have to way the costs vs. the benefits. The commission was obviously not impartial, they were looking to blame (even though, again like I said before, the people looking to blame are against EVERY type of preventative measure you can think of).

i think we should punish hilary for not pleasing him and force her to give him "oral sex" so we can get her to shut the hell up.

on the contrary, if ppl knew the truth, they'd be much more optomistic

then what was 'costly' about testifying seperately and under oath or even in public? and why do ya think he lied about the shoot down orders?

I don't like her and won't vote for her if she runs ... but I have to admit, it would be a lot of fun to see her appoint Bill to the Supreme Court :D

See my previous post. The drive by media (and people on the far far left like you see here) would rip apart anything he said. It's a no win situation. I think it was ridiculous that he even recognized the 911 commission.

if they did it out of the public eye to avoid anything they said being ripped apart why not testify seperately, as the commission requested? since it was already out of the public eye what did it matter? no drive by media or far far far lefties would ever know what was said?
