I really feel like this country has been saved. Not by Obama, but by those of us smart enough to have voted for him. ALL of our kids will be better off with this move towards a more future oriented, sustainable, peaceful and less selfish direction.

The Republicans came damn close to ruining this great nation during the last few years and we have a huge mess to clean up but at least we have a shot now. As a PS to you religious zealot right wingers just remember that God must have wanted Obama to win too.

I am no Pelosi or Reid fanboy but if you now anything about how the government works you can't pass legislation without the Presidents approval, he holds the veto. Bush was not going to go along with anything remotely progressive so the Congress couldn't get anything done.
