on Ron Paul with the moving train/the pit?

I was looking at some of his ideas and I agree with him on a lot but he's a tad too religious for me. He is not Pro-choice which I have an issue with. I believe men should stay the F out of it when it comes down to a woman and her body.

You obviously don't spend much time here.

I don't know if anyone here has ever heard of anyone by that name. All I know is that Ron Paul has the same initials as my local lumber yard. That sucks for them.

  • Who? Ron Paul?

Sme people think he might actually be a good choice, the others prefer the dancing Jesus car salesman shtick instead.

    hehe...

You know how your parents force you to eat broccoli growing up because they say it'll make you big and strong, then you grow up despising it because it and it's awful taste was forced on you? Yeah, something like that.

But then you gain wisdom, realize eating the junk food is quick, and easy but it kills you off 10 times faster ;)

The more and more I read up on him and watch him debate on YouTube the more I tend to agree with him. Hey, out of any of the Republican candidates this guy is a breath of fresh air. FYI, I am not a Democrat, Republican or Liberal. I vote for the best candidate.

hello fw4um, the reason i am not totally committed to any of the candidates is because of immigration issues...i don't think mr. paul is latino-friendly...

i don't think that religion shoudl be a platform to win a presidency...i thought i read somewhere about a separation of chruch and state...but silly me, i guess i am illiterate becasue it all seems like some great puppeteer has placed a carrot of deception under the guise of religion to attract the american people...

it's almost to me like, religious zealots have bigger egos than God (as I perceive or your terms) the ONE....

on the good side of things, though, i saw on the news that some folks in texas are fighting the federal government to prevent that fence being put on their property...

and i also heard today that a governor is fighting the national id program...wake up america, you may have a chance afteralll...peace....

Finally someone who has a serious response!!!! Holy SHIT!!! I thought I was going to get more "Veggie Tails" jokes.

I do agree that his border policy is a little strict on immigrants that are already here. I do think for the ones that have been good citizens should be allowed to get "Grandfathered" in if you will. And again, I do not know who I am voting for. I would really like to see Edwards get the nomination but I do not see that happening with the Obama Lama support and the Hillary people in love with her Kankels (Just kidding). But it was really refreshing to see Paul come out of the Republican Party. He seems to give a shit ya know?

The reason why people have been giving you shit answers is because the last six months RP supporters have been making at least 85 Ron Paul threads a day here.

well, the grandfathered in idea is appealing...as for passing any stones...

    that's for the hard hitters.....!!!!

also, sometimes when some people become innodated with too much info, everything becomes hazy...and this doens't help what might be good for a village.

I agree on the information overload. I think when that starts to become a factor you really have to start looking at the character of the candidate (like someone who gives a shit). Looking at voting records is a real key for me. One thing you do have to give Paul is that he was present and voted yea or nea and didn't vote present like Obama did.

My opinion on Ron Paul would be that he is a principled right winger, alright.
I can like his liberal stances on some personal liberty issues.

Apart from that, I just about disagree with everything he stands for. Constitution nostalgist whose solution to most things would seem to be to not get involved at all. A libertarian really, is what he is. And I have little sympathy for those.

That's what I think about him anyway.

    Peace

Yeah... realizing their record and I might add, looking at what organizations support a candidate's campaign.....but once again, that leads into a quest....of ambiguouity (sp). I used to think that my vote didn't matter...and it probably doesn't as much as my egocentric self would like to think, but as time travels, I am seeing how my vote does matter to my placement in this universe.

If I am to believe in a law of magnetic attraction, then what I put out in thought as well as action will come back to me...The vote is no different...
