Is there validity when people say blondes are dumb?

    I think it has less to do with the pigment of their hair and more to do with good looks not necessarily requiring intelligence to get ahead in the world. Half the "dumb blondes" out their are natural brunettes..

    Natural blondes, at least in the USA, are little more than 1% of the population.

    In some countries, like Scandinavia or Germany, it may jump to around 3-5%

    But, worldwide, the average is more like 1%.

    It's seriously that low?.. I feel like a minority then. I know plenty of natural blonde people. I'd argue that figure has to be more like 10-20% for caucasion. That number can't be right. Of course, there's so many types of blonde. My hair is a darker, reder blonde.

    I'd say it sums up the fact that some people are stupid, or at least, don't react well under pressure. It says nothing about blondes.

    Never mind that she's on TV with millions of viewers all around the world watching her and being scrutinized plus it was a dumb question anyway.

    Stage fright sucks big time! And that's a pretty bad case of it right there I reckon and could just as easily have happened to a purple person with orange hair. :D

    Really, if you're purple, with orange hair, you're gonna be a little bit self-conscious whether you're on-stage or not. :p

    I am a firm believer that blond hair, natural or dyed, is the leading cause of human pattern stupidity. Its the matter that the hair is on the head, therefore very close to the brain. The blondness doesnt necessarily make them stupid, I have a friend as an example, they may have an understanding of school taught subjects, but it saps their ability to use human reason and common sense.

    This is a very sad thing. My heart goes out to all the family members of those with such a condition. :(

    What happens if a blonde shaves her head just for the hell of it, does she suddenly become smarter?

    How about women with that light-brown hair, that gets blonder in the summer (from being out in the sun); but goes browner in the fall and winter.

    Do their IQs rise and fall with their environmental infleunces?

    Is it true that guys who wear American Idol t-shirts, have extremely low IQs?
