    Hola po' :D

I was born in Chile, raised in Venezuela and currently living in Argentina, but my breed is:

    50% Italian
    25% German
20% various European countries (Czech Republic, Austria, Russia and Poland among others).
    5% Chilean
  • Heh. 100% Norwegian back some ways I think. My entire family (except for me and my generation of educated cousins) live within 40 km of eachother. That's my grandparents and all of my aunts and uncles (of which I have 12-13).

I come from an island (the most densely populated in Norway), and my name is a local old farm's name. (only 70 people have that name, so it is a protected name.) My mom's maiden name was a little place there (probably old farm) as well. So I guess I'm pretty local in that respect.

    Peace
    Dan

  • my folks were both born in Nova Scotia Canada. My mom's parent were English and Scottish. My Dad's parents were Irish and Welch(From Wales, Is Welch correct???!!) I was born in the USA. What does that make me? 100% American with a even selection of the British Isles??

  • its welsh hun..

I am a mutt, big styles.

there is italian, irish, english, welsh, german, flemish all in roughly the same amounts, slighty more of the irish and italian...hence my roman nose, lol.

I have grown up in East London though, so am oretty much LONDON BABY!!!

i traced my ma's mum's side of the family back to being flemish carpet weavers three generations ago.

My ma's dad's side is a little elusive coz his biologial father did a bunk not long after he was born. my great grandma was welsh and all the evidence suggests the great grandad was irish, though i cant prove it.

My Dad's dad is Italian, but he grew up in Ireland, but was born in Northern Ireland. I know where his dad was born in Italy and will go there someday soon hopefully.

my dad's mum was half east ender and half german.

    There you have it.

I have family living in France, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and North Carolina, USA.

    so a mutt, for real.

As far as I've been able to gather the information from my parents, this is my heritage, from most to least:

    Irish
    English
    Scotch
    German
    Croatian
A smidgen of Cherokee (supposedly several generations back on my mother's side)

The Irish is the side my dad claims the most and my last name is Irish. My mom also has Irish ancestry so Irish wins the big prize. My son actually was given an Irish name. But I'm mostly just an American dude who is interested in his heritage.

although not breeds what if I'm part blue-blood and part hillbilly, would this affect my temperment?

oh and what if a great-great grandfather on my Daddy's side fought on the Union side and a great-great grandpapa on my Momma's side fought on the Confederate side during the US Civil War?

Hehe... If it was a breed I would be a dog horse cat or other sort of animal.. :-) Anyhow my nationality would be..
Danish/ English on my dad's side.... ( my grandfather Kar -promounced Care-moved to the US, from Denmark, when my dad , the youngest of seven boys was only two. When my Danish grandfather married my English grandmother she only changed the spelling of her last name.. He wasTomsen and she was Thompson so she just shortened her last name when she got married.

And on my mother's side I'm Polish (grandfather), French Indian, and French (grandmother).. interesting theread by the way
