Huh, it's funny how big of a case this turned out to be and I didn't even know the verdict until now. I always just skipped those articles. I honestly didn't care that much, I thought it was just another murder trial blown out of proportion.

Interesting to see how the court played, the media messing up whitness testimony and evidence being totally discredited. It's also interesting to note how this became such a racially polarized case. One man says "everything is about race." it's interesting I never thought that way. I've never considered race to be such a big aspect of life. It's too bad people feel that way.

    lol

After looking at all this evidence and the way the trial played out. I'd say if he had been tried infront of an all black jury in canada, he'd be sitting in jail right now.

yeah, johnny cochran and his chewbacca defense:

Why would a Wookiee, an eight-foot tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense!

....and southpark is not a canadian cartoon. The right to criticize is worthless without having something to criticize.

I have no clue how you could possibly NOT have known the verdict prior to recently. Seriously. People who dont own tv's or radios know the outcome. Either you were 3 years old at the time, or living in la la land. Wow.

Btw, OJ has some seriously bad karma coming.

Or at least, one can only hope.

Well, I don't have TV or Radio, and no I didn't know the verdict. I knew very little about the trial, and personally I don't care. I just think it's rediculous that the race card has a place in court.

I live in London, Ontario. I just don't subscribe to cable and I don't get a good radio signal in my basement apartment. That's all opinionated bullshit anyway, forgive me for thinking soap operas and talk shows are pathetic. Hell I can't even watch the top rated shows for more than a couple of episodes. Television makes me want to puke. So I stick to the internet where infomation comes in many flavours.

How old were you in 1994 ahnimus? Just curious.

And by the way, EVERY time a non-caucasion and a caucasion have a negative interaction, the race card is there. Its inevitable. Because once again, nothing is ever anyone's OWN fault. :(
