Yea, so, I really like to listen/watch lectures. I guess I'm probably one of the odd one's
Anyway, I wanted to share with everyone this Holiday Lecture series by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. I just watched the first part of the Evolution lectures which chronicles Darwin's journeys around the world and the 40+ years he spent working on Evolution. I didn't realize he kept Evolution theory secret for 20 years so he wouldn't piss off the church. He has originally told his wife to publish his research after he died, but with the death of his daughter he changed his mind. Anyway it's a good lecture on some of the science, a lot of his voyages and a bit of his personal life as well.
They also explain how Evolution theory is required for many other theories and practices, such as epidemiology, developmental biology, etc.. Evolution theory is at the root of curing disease.

Other lectures include:
Obesity
Cancer
Neuroscience
Genomics and Chemical Genetics
Sex Determination
Biological Clocks
Infections Diseases
Cardiovascular
Immunology
RNA
These videos are also available on Google Video: http://video.google.ca/videosearch?q=howard+hughes+medical
The videos aren't sorted on google so it's difficult to find the next lecture in a series.

I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

Are there any videos? I can't find them.
Apparently, Corn was created by Mexican natives by an evolutionary process. By breading Teosinte and Maize together. Cool.
How can anyone deny evolution?
Cool thanks.
I just realized I screwed up the title MMHI should be HHMI, doh.
