I had like a million drosophila flying around in my apartment after I took my garbage out. Must have been something in there.
Anyway, I made this wicked trap.
Take a jar, put a piece of fruit in it and cover the top in plastic wrap, poke a 4 or 5 holes in it with a toothpick.
I did this and caught like a million of the buggers. They climb in then they don't come out.
It wasn't my original idea, I got it after browsing google for a while.
