Dennis Kucinich should be the next president...He's a much better candidate than Hillary, Obama, or Edwards.

i agree with you, but he's not 'establishment' like the others.

i'd like to see dennis endorse his buddy ron paul.

i'm not trying to be imflammatory here, and i have no real problem with Kucinich per se, but after DK fails to recieve less than 1% of the vote anywhere in the country, then what? Third party? Late independant entry? Hey, maybe ralph nader will decide to run again. i'm sorry folks, but at some point, whether you like it or not, a candidates electability or "chance of actually winning" HAS to become a factor, as does their ability to actually get things done. Do you actually think DK would be able to accomplish jack shit as president in such a partisan, checks and balances system such as ours?
i'm not a huge fan of the party system we have either. i hear, agree with, and can respect what people say about voting for the person who "best represents my values regardless" and "if we are persistent, someday third party, independant, fledgling type candidates will be on a level playing field with everyone else", but, to use the words of the OP "let's face it" we don't have 8, 16, maybe 24 years or so to fuck around. Something, anything, needs to be set into motion NOW before violent revolution becomes the only option. The way it stands now, we're headed for Hillary versus whichever goofball the republicans put up there, and were all screwed.

  • Clinton needs two terms to fix the major shit....then you can have your presidential "savior" who will change the world (But most likely Clinton, or Obama, will win change things for the better, then a republican will come in after them and change the shit back)

Clinton will not have a SINGLE term. There is absolutely no way she an win a general election. Absolutely NO WAY. You can bet the farm on that.

I don't have a farm to hold you to it but why do you feel so assured she can't win a general election?

I do know I won't help her so why?

It's true. The Republicans WANT her to win the Democratic nod, because they know that will mean a Republican win hands down. I've even read where Rupert Murdoch is supporting her! They know it's a shoe-in win for the Right.
  • If another republican wins, I suggest everyone cash out their 401(k)'s, 403(b)'s, IRA's....basically anything tied to the economy, exchange your currency for canadian....because I don't like where the economy is headed.

I'm pretty sure that even if clinton or obama get in that your economy will still head the same way.
Keep on rockin in the free world!!!!

The economy has polarized to the point where the wealthiest 10% now own 85% of the nation’s wealth. Never before have the bottom 90% been so highly indebted, so dependent on the wealthy.

The Euro... George Bushes lovely aimless war on terror...cut taxes.... spend out the yang. Nice plan dumbass. Nothing he's done in his entire administration has been "conservative" except his morals...and public morality is basically bullshit. NCLB...great...well done there too. Now we have a nation of test takers who can't think critically.

I guess it is representative of the average American house hold though... we do seem to LOVE being in debt.

Hillary changes nothing but the terminology and the funded programs we're still fucked economically. At least Obama seems to desire a balanced budget. Now as far as paying down the debt... yeah your guess is as good as mine.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

well the last Clinton turned things around economically. Doesn't mean much now though, being a Bush administration on both sides of it.

Her only real voting block is the hardline democratic party faithful, and that is only because the party has been pushing her for the past 4 years. Anyone and everyone else pretty much hates her. Republicans hate her, independants, at best, do not like her enough to votr for her in any real numbers. That will not win a general election.Even if every single registered democrat voted for Hillary in the general election (and trust me, they will not), she loses in a landslide. She will get little to no independant support and absolutely no crossover support. She doesn't stand an effing chance in a general. i guess, for want of a farm, you can bet anything and everything you DO have on it. i'll tell you what, if Hillary Clinton wins the general election, i'll eat my shirt. :)
