Would love to see her fall. I'm not crazy about any of the mainstream candidates but I could live with Obama. I fear having to choose between Clinton and McCain.

....superdelegates to the rescue. Now we see if all those payoffs and back scratches will pay off.

i hope you're right. Personally i would love nothing more than to see her lose in Texas and/or Ohio. i would LOVE to be a fly on the wall in hillary's hotel room if that were to happen. i am fearful though. Not so much about Texas and Ohio, as i think Obama will hold his own in those states. i am fearful, as i posted in another thread that the nomination will be awarded to cunton in either a smoke filled room or the courts. Right now it looks like Howard Woooooooohaaaaaaa Dean has the future of the party in his pumping fist. i only pray he handles it well and makes the right decisions.

    Superdelegates...

The only thing that makes me think that some of the superdelegates will waiver if Obama is running away with "regular" delegates, is that a lot of these superdelegates have to run for re-election in the fall. There might be a lot of backlash that could hurt their re-election bids.

If things keep going Obama's way and he keeps getting 60+% of the delegates, Hilary will have a lot of (expensive) digging to do to get out of the whole she will be in.

What scares me though, is that the Clintons will do EVERYTHING that they can to win, so if she is loosing, the race will get very ugly and very negative, very quickly....

Doesn't that help Obama in the long run anyway. Hillary going negative will be no worse than the Republicans going negative so she might as well test his mettle now. He has given no indication that he can't handle the heat so I don't think he will buckle under the pressure and get taken off message.

Keep in mind that superdelegates are unpledged. They are free to change their mind. Also, roughly 2/3 of the so-called super delegates have yet to state their preference. cunton can't yet count on superdelegates to bail her out. That plan, possibly could blow up in her face. She seems to be losing credibility almost daily.

Yep, what worries me though are the states like Mass and others that Clinton won. The superdelagates there could really go any way. Ex. Mass has superdelagates (Kerry, Kennedy, for example) that endorse and support Obama, but will they break away from what the people voted for? I think those two guys would be fine politically, but others may take a hit from it.
A lot is still up in the air. If Obama can sweep today, and take at least one (TX or Ohio) he will probably be set. If he sweeps all, it's over. If he doesn't sweep today and loses TX and OH, they it's going to drag on and may be tough for him.

I think he will, but if he doesn't for some crazy reason...that's not the best news.

I dunno, I just worry about Texas and Ohio. They are both worth a lot and I think they could go either way at this point.

I hope he pulls off the next 5 states...then Hilary is done and we can get down to business!
  • He is predicted to win today... by how much will be the story. If he keeps thumping her by 25+ Ohio will sway... Texas is another story...

Yeah but the thing is....why the hell would Texas vote for Hillary Clinton?

Interesting. i tend to think he will have an easier time in Texas than Ohio.

Right, just like New Hampshire. I think its likely he'll sweep, but virginia has me worried. Also if she comes close the Clinton's will spin it as a "moral victory".

    I don't get that either...

    Unfortunately, it's not over yet.

I hate the slimey Clintons...It scares the hell out of me that she could be president. Here's hopin' for Obama vs. McCain (since he's already decided that is, otherwise I'd have a different pick)...
