You know that will be the democratic presidential ticket in November... or vice versa... so no matter which candidate you vote for during your local elections... this what the dems got planned... agree or disagree?

  • Couldn't disagree more.

Why would Obama want to carry the Clinton baggage around w/ him for 8 years. You know Bill and Hillary would always be throwing their two cents in to everything and be bitter about it all.

Also, IF Clinton were the nominee, Obama is a rockstar. The President doesn't want a VP to overshadow them all the time. That's what would happen w/ an Obama VP.

I don't know who Obama would pick. I would hope for Joe Biden or Bill Richardson. Hell, even John Edwards.

Clinton would be smart to go with Richardson.

Yeah... I can't see it happening under any circumstances either... And I am happy about that :)

I think that its a political move... not whats always best move... I think that the dems realize if they lose one or the other on the november ticket, they will lose voters...

OMG.. did you not see in their debate already holding their arms up together???
  • There's no way she would play second-fiddle if he won the nomination. He might, but as said above, I doubt she'd wanna VP who would outshine her. Of course, he would definitely help her beat McCain.

I don't think either would give up their Senate seat to be VP.

Clinton supporters will cross over to vote for Obama in a general, I don't think the I's and R's that Obama has gained in the primaries will vote for Hillary, they would go to McCain

Why not? What is not better than to preside over the senate as vp?

Neither of them would want to be at the other ones will. These two clearly do not like eachother.

Okay I accept that... but I still think the dems has plans for the two together... wait and see... ;)

Too many words said in this campaign would come back to haunt them on the same ticket. I can assure you there are no DNC plans for the both of them.

Im gonna wait and see.. I think also the two together would appeal to new/young voters as they vote for change... what could be the exact opposite of GOP regime we have seen for the past 8 years other than having a black man and a woman on the same ticket two people representative of those whom are underserved by our current government....

ahhhh... words can be easily backtracked and undone by good politicians

okay... truce.. make a bet? lol

Clinton....NO WAY....hell folks that voted for Obama want to get rid of the status quo.....not embrace it....Clintons and Bush's need to pack their bags and never again make an appearance.

I'd love to see Edwards or Biden as a VP. My heart says to go with Edwards but my mind says Biden. My loins also say Edwards. He got pretty hair.

No way. Obama doesn't need her. In fact, it would be political suicide for him to choose her as a running mate. billary would never choose Obama (and i daresay he would not accept it anyway). After all her underhanded, juvenile, smear tactics, she would look absolutely stupid(er). Besides she will only win the nomination by stealing it. You think she will offer a vp spot to the guy she stole the nomination from? It will never happen. Whereas clinton supporters may see the value in the situation and would love to see it, hardcore Obama supporters, i say this speaking as one, really do not want to see him running with hillary in any capacity. Won't happen.

Edwards should be VP.... Biden would be better severed as Secretary of Defense.

There were ALOT of people whom were very satisfied and voted for the Clinton's during the 90's and still do today...

C'mon... your all in denial... nobody cares about Biden when it comes to popularity contest... Dems want votes....Im not saying ol' joe is a bad politician, but I dont think he's got he "popular" backing behind him...

I dont think that Hillary is too "proud" ... if anything do what it takes to get their asses back into the White House

Bill Clinton endorsed Obama in 2000...

How I see it is that it is propaganda from Hillary. Shes planting the seed that may lead people to believe something along the lines of "if you Obama lovers vote for me, you'll get your Obama anyway".

I could be talking out of my ass with that. :D

i would be more then okay with that ticket, and i dont care who is VP, it would actually make more sense for Obama to be VP cause he is young enough to run afterwards.
    Peace, Love.

    no.... dont think you are...

I do think the original unofficial Dem idea was to have two very strong candidates to win the election with Billary on the tix as prez candidate and Obama as the vice prez and maybe backfire a bit ...

Note my original post was on February 20...
  • Prediction:

Hillary wins just enough primaries from here on out to put her just close enough BEHIND Obama for all the rigged superdelegates to come out and vote for her and not Obama.

    She then secures the nomination.
Instead of fighting this like a real man would, since Obama is just a CFR stooge anyhow, he will immediately concede and GRACIOUSLY accept the VP slot.

Then it is on with the rigged general election, and Clinton\Obama rolls in to the white house ...

we get healthcare, more wide open borders, more war in Iraq\Iran, no real change, the dollar fails, we get a terrorist attack somewhere, maybe something big ...

    people never wake up.
    ever.

Not sure if anyone saw this...

    http://www.nypost.com/seven/03052008/news/nationalnews/hillary_clinton_hints_at_shared_ticket_w_100573.htm

Asked on CBS's "The Early Show" whether she and Obama should be on the same ticket, Clinton said:

"That may be where this is headed, but of course we have to decide who is on the top of ticket. I think the people of Ohio very clearly said that it should be me."

Speaking to reporters on a plane this morning, Obama said it was too early to talk about a shared ticket.

"We are just focused on winning the nomination. That is my focus. I respect Sen. Clinton. She has been a tenacious opponent. It is premature to talk about a joint ticket," Politico.com reported.

Of course Clinton is hinting at a shared ticket, because she is LOSING. If she was winning she wouldn't be talking about a shared ticket, or "letting the primaries unfold" or whatever. If she was up by 100+ delegates, she'd be saying he should drop out weeks ago.

And and having Obama, Hilary and Bill Clinton at the top of the executive branch, could be the biggest clusterfuck ever.
