Why is it every presidential race sucks?

Can we ever get a good rep? First Bush/Kerry now this shitty race.

    I'd vote for superman, I mean I liked Batman but then he did that phone tap thing, wtf? Then again, Superman just listens in on everyones conversation with those super hearing ears. Kinda the same thing.

    I asked an attorney the other day what does Habeas corpus means.. he said he never studied that law.. Go figure? why does the race suck because its all about the almighty dollar now. It does make a difference when we take the time to study such as our milita.. many years ago shot all the WOLVES IN OREGON for a bounty? why because "we as a people" voted and allowed them to do dirty deeds without holding any accountability to the actions.. SUCH AS THE RED GUARD HERE IN OREGON.. The news used to be real news , over the last 37 years since the gates were opened to the world.. We have lost our free speech.
    It seems that our town here needs a few plumbers.. to wash the dirt from our lives. Getting the justice Truth gets out and rises too the occasion.     This race sucks, because Americans suck.

    We had the opportunity to get quality people into the race and push these corporate, elitist fuckers out of the picture.

    But Americans decided that quality people like Dennis Kucinich and Ralph Nader are not what this country needs.

    So we are left with nothing but the same 'ole crap.

    So blame yourselves for the turds running the race.

    The presidential race will always "suck" because people want to be able to say it sucks.

    As long as you think that the president of the Unites State of America is going to agree with you 100%...or even 80% on the issues and how to deal with them, you're going to think the campaign sucks.

    Because Americans have decided they don't care whether their vote counts for anything or not. They've levied that power away as well and will tacitly accept the canidate given to them to vote for to keep up the democratic charade. People are voting for a symbol now a team. Thier favorite team. Morality, ideals be damned. Just keep those people out of office... because they'd ruin everything.

    Americans have thrown away individual responsibility and freedom in favor of security.

    I think a big part of it, is just because it's so goddamn overhyped and over marketed.

    I don't really think that either candidate this time around is a terrible candidate, but they are being shoved down everyone's throat 24-7, and paraded in front of every possible group of people that they need to pander to, it's just insane.

    LOL!!!!!!! Dennis Kucinich? I wouldn't mind seeing his wife more often but he has no business being the President of United States. He couldn't even manage the city of Cleveland when he was the mayor. What makes you think he can lead the United States? HAHAHA!!!

    Most Americans, this is my assumption, are apathetic to the whole voting process. They don't want to take the time to do the research on the candidates voting record or where the funding for their campaigns comes from. They get their information about candidates from network news. Wether it's Fox, NBC, CNN etc… These corporate news giants have an agenda and only the candidates who fit into their agenda get the positive coverage. These candidates are usually the ones who would sell their grandmothers to get elected/re-elected. Another problem is that many people simply vote along party lines. They don't concern themselves where the candidate stands on the issue just as long as they have a D or R after their name. Until Americans as a whole wake up and realize that neither party, for the most part, do not have their best interest at heart we will continue to get the shitty candidates we have become accustomed to. As someone on this board once said, and I can't remember who it was, we get the candidates we deserve.

    Presidential Elections 'suck'... because anytime you are asked, "Which would you prefer to eat... shit or crap?"... it is going to suck.
    But, that's what Americans have settled for. I guess shit/crap is an acquired taste that we have acquired.
    And before you go off blaming the Republicans or Democrats... if you are the type of person who does that... then YOU are to blame. To continually and blindly support one political party over the other... you are basically picking shit or crap to eat... and you are the one serving your choice for shit or crap to the rest of us. This is HOW and WHY we continually have a Congress with an approval rating historically under 20%. if these people are so fucking shitty at what they do... then, why the FUCK have they been in office for the past 20 or 40 years???
    Because dumb fuck Americans pledge their souls and hold true to the (D) or (R), for which it stands. It's like rooting for a sports team... something Americans have complete understanding of... sports.     In 2006 Americans did send a message by returning the majority back to the Democrats. There numbers will increase in November and the Democrats will be able to accomplish what they set out to do 2 years ago once they take back the White House. Change does not happen over night.

    The race this year is the best race since I've been alive, but then again, my choices are...

    Bush/Dukakis
    Bush/Clinton
    Clinton/Dole
    Gore/Bush
    Bush/Kerry

    What a sorry bunch of choices. I think McCain/Obama looks much better than any of those.
