They helped & trained Talibans defend afghanistan against USSR invasion.

They helped Iran during the Iran-Iraq war.

They ousted Saddam in Iraq.

i think the reason here is the meddling of US of other countries. why is the US meddling with other country's affairs? is there a hidden agenda here?

    Power and Control

That's what every empire has ever wanted. Power corrupts. The U.S. has taken far more covert methods of obtaining that control than any of it's predecessors. Thus giving many of it's citizens a level of ignorance unsurpassed.
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

    It's good business :(

One small correction...we helped Iraq during the Iran Iraq war.

We toppled Iran's freely elected, democratic government in the 60's and installed the Shah

We helped Bin Ladin and his people during the first Gulf War. Bin Ladin was/is CIA.

Under cover of wartime media coverage and constant threat of terrorism, we just excused a huge chunk (2.5 billion) of the fine levied against Exxon for the Valdez disaster!!! This fucking company made nearly 10 billion in profit in the last quarter alone...yet they can't pay the price for their environmental disaster? I wonder if the President got a kickback from Texas-based Exxon Corp?

to protect america against extremists by not giving them a base of operations and to not let 1 country take over control of the middle east.

The U.S. has meddled in the affairs of other countries in virtually every region of the globe.....so whats with simply mentioning the Middle East ? And just to be clear, it has no business meddling even there in some instances.

Base of operation another nice little catch phrase if you don't live in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, or any other European country. Europe and Asia are connected, there are no oceans separating them. The entire Eurasia continent is a base of operation with potential targets by the enemies we have given rise to.

The term Middle East is simply a designation for "several countries" within a specified region, including Israel. Name, what existing one country anywhere that could rule this region?
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.
  • Yes, yes, we understand. Since we created our enemies, we deserve to be punished.

My mistake. It was early. You are correct.
