Just wondering. Those that do, have you been hassled or had any problems with it?

Just wondering. My back kinda hurts
So does my head.... Think I have another migraine coming on...
if you get the card, let me know, i'll be your best friend
How is this pushing it? Perfectly legal in a few states here in the US. Mine happens to be one of them. I have sleeping problems and chronic pain. Just wanted to know if it was worth the hassle.
i mean talking about it in here, there are lots of threads about weed, and i've seen thread about female genitalia.... not that i want everyone to stop i just find it funny.
Now Im no doctor, but I used to burn down the best herb around; (yes, like the shit they "distriubute" in the "centers",) and i have to say there was no amount of herb that made any of my surgery pain better after I had an ACL repaired. Only vicotine......
does anyone seriously use herb as a pain reliever? Besides the seriously ill?

I use it more as well muscle relaxer. I also have a bad knee that aches, I'm just not a pill person and don't like taking them. It doesn't necessary make pain go away, but it does relax and calm the body.
My cousin uses it very effectively for the treatment of fibromyalgia(sp)
It's the only thing that works. I also think it works effectively for some migranes probably other things too. Unfortunately, due to our draconian government, one cannot do legal research. I'd imagine using a vaporizer would be a lot healthier to deliver the medicine than smoking it.
you know, those of you who abuse the system are the exact reason it should not, and will not, ever be legalized.

I'm still praying for glaucoma to hit me at a young age!
it's too long to go into, but smoking weed in the evenings helps with my cronic pain....
i have been thinking about getting a prescription but just haven't got around to doing it (yes being a pot smoker that is very funny )
Check your facts before you open your mouth and say something stupid... chronic migraines which I get, is a justified reason for a medical card. Wake up...
That's debatable. Besides, it was your sly wink and a nod tone which made it blatantly obvious that you were only interested in getting high.

Yes. I partially dislocated my collar bone a year or so ago, the ligaments and muscles... around it still hurt a lot and doctors told me it's a very slow healing process. I smoke pot recreationally but I've noticed that it does indeed work as a pain reliever and it works effectively. So instead of taking pills I take a few hits from my bong.
Also, when I had one of my wisdom teeth extracted the doctor gave me ibobrufen. I searched the internet to see what effects marijuana might have combined with ibobrufen (which is also known under a different name), turns out the combination is a great pain killer, which was good news for me because the dosage of ibobrufen prescribed no longer relieved my pain, so I had to take a higher dosage or take the same dosage but smoke a joint as well.

It's not debatable! I've looked into it... AND while I may enjoy smoking it also is the ONLY thing that will allow me to rest and sleep off the bad migraines I get. Oh wait... I know I should be taking "legal" drugs... cause those are so much better for me right? Give me a break dude...
Oh and my "sly wink and nod tone" has more to do with the fact South and Seattle hang out together...
The guy that was in WW a few weeks back? Seemed like a real idiot... there are still other doctors in Portland... just the amount I smoke ussually doesnt justify the "bend over" fee they have for the card.
Thanks for the tip!
i'm waiting for someone to say if you're smoking pot you're supporting the terrorists....
well, you could always take Topamax and the other myriad legal perscription migrane drugs that cost a fortune and ruin your insides.... modern medicine is freaking great isn't it?
Nothing like being able to poison yourself as long as the law is on your side.
not supporting terrorists, but rather depleting a valuable, non-renewable resource: Brain cells.

In Canada, patients can designate a grower...for the last few years, it's been a one patient, one grower ratio. Last month, a federal judge ruled that this went against the charter...and each grower can supply multiple patients. I've been politely volunteering to help my fams out ...but don't want to be insensitive about their health problems.
Then again...Health Canada is appealing the ruling (WHY? fuckers!)...the patients involved in the initial case have cross-appealed to have the courts revise the ruling to include judicial monitoring of the government's control over access. Interesting.
