just wondering what the general feeling about the st. andrews situation was
"If you remove the English army tomorrow and hoist the green flag over Dublin castle, unless you set about the organisation of the socialist republic then all of your efforts would have been in vain. England will still rule you through her capitalists ,landlords and commercial institutions"

  • I'm surprised about the lack of RTE coverage, really. I do listen to Newstalk, though, and when the talk isn't too Dublin-o-centric, it does raise this.

What news sources do you rely on? I'm Irish, outside of Ireland. One of the few things the BBC is way too slanted on, is Northern Ireland, and I don't want to rely on An Phoblacht, either.

well i read the village magazine which is good. im in sinn fein so i have the actual agreement and im reading it, there are a range of opinions in the cumann some support some dont, the most contientious thing is the policing definately. i think if it wasnt for that most people would have some degree of support, but we have done all the compromising why should we compromise on this
