Funnel Cakes are What's Wrong with America.

This decadance must be stopped. Only in this country would one fry dough and cover it with powdered sugar and other sweet sauces. When will they learn that this causes moral decay? In other countries and nations a sugar overdose would be incurred if one was to touch this fried culinary corruption. Do not give in to the crisp, tasty, warm, delicious heaven. You will only be selling your soul to the WTO and IMF.

    i love funnel cakes! when i was in canada my aunt made it for me every day :D and then when she came over here a few months ago she made them a few times :D WOOOHOO TO FUNNEL CAKES

    You must stop! The War on Funnel Cakes is needed to keep this country going in the right direction. The funnel cakes are infiltrating our children's schools. The newest enemy in this war is "cakebase" where the funnel cake is cooked down with super sugar and smoked. It is not the choice of the american people if they want to partake in this sugary confection but it is the duty of the government to regulate and criminalize all usage of funnel cakes.

    ahhhhhhh...in NY we have zeppolles. same fried, sugary goodness, different shape...but YUMMM. always a *must* at any italian festival during the summer. if they don't make greasy stains on the bag they give you, then they aren't as they should be. :p

    Old fashion fun like funnel cakes is what is right about America .... Funnel Cakes were derived of the Penn. German/ Dutch culture I think (not 100 % sure there) ... and they kind of became popular with Carnival/ State Fair culture ........I do go to my state fair pretty much every September because I like to compete in the horticulture contests .......we always see the funnel cakes and candy apples for sale there ....

    that fair has been serving those since I can remember ....... Carnies and funnel cakes - they go hand in hand ! :)
