This DOJ "investigation" should be sounding loud sirens in the ears of voters. 2004 repeats itself.

yeah going back to tammany hall, to one degree or other.

The OPs feeling that Obama would be less culpable than McCain in any "coup" theories entertained is pretty funny to me.

I would say there'd be no doubt that there is no way we'd know the next President come the following morning, but then again, no one challenged the 04 election either, and I'd say that was almost as partisan. Basically, if it stays like it is, I doubt it; if the map today is the map on Election Day, Obama will win and win big; how would McCain argue election fraud? However, if it comes down to one state like in 2000 with Florida or 04 with Ohio we could certainly see the lawyers come out to play. I guess we'll see if the race tightens up.

I am less concerned about voter frauds than I am about the kind of violent reaction we could see either way. I don't remember any presidential election, even 2000's, being like this.

They won't be any violent reaction if Obama loses or if McCain loses in close results. Complacency has overtaken this country, there's a better chance of GW Bush declaring Marshall law for some made up reason than the people taking to the streets burning and looting.

Therefore GWB will continue to be our president, now that's something scary.

    International? Why??
I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.

It's already been noted that at least six counties in Alabama have more registered voters than actual citizens....all are heavily Democratic counties, BTW.

  • the democrats and republicans both do it. i think most of the time they cancel each other out. i'm not too worried.

and dont worry about Bush, his day has come and gone. his people dont have that kinda power.
