It is said that we are transitioning into the age of Aquarius, the newest age to begin since the birth of Christ, two thousand years ago.

In order to see where we are heading, sometimes it's helpful to look at where we've come from. The last so-called 2,000 year age was the Piscean Age.

The darkness and ignorance of humanity has been highlighted through this era. That is because we've been operating unconsciously from the shadow/darkness of our nature, many times. At the same time, we have developed a renewed and powerful vision of Love and Altruism.

This is not about "magic". This is not about change whisking us off to a utopian ideal. This is about the ugliness of humanity--the shallowness of our individual self-centered egos being faced, accepted and addressed. This is about us taking responsibility within. It is about creating real and lasting change within and without, through our OWN intentions, attitudes and, subsequently, our OWN actions. Rather than blaming others, being enmeshed with each other and perpetuating fear, this is about becoming centered and balanced within.

Some will enter these changes wide awake, and of their own accord. Others will be ensnared by ego, and will be forced to change through life's school of hard knocks, aka evolution.

The Zodiacs success is based on its ability to help ancient farmers know when to plant etc... one can only assume that when they noticed that a similar astronomical procession happened over milliena, they thought it had some grand importance... really its just a bunch of markers in the sky. Just because we used them to predict spring every year, it doesn't mean we can use them to predict the future in general.

Thanks for posting this stuff Angelica! I watched some of the Mayan calendar videos you posted and this phrase, "One Universal Energy" is kind of synonymous with the whole Universal Consciousness age that's supposed to come in soon as well. Spooky!

But when it comes to dualities, you could say that Islam and Christianity is another one of those tense opposites which is building to a head. I can't somehow see the Taliban/Wahabis decide to give up their views and be all arm-in-arm with Israel/US/India (you name it), somehow can you? I'd like to see how the Age of Aquarius synthesises that out! I don't think it will ever be that simple.

The sayings "as above, so below", or "as within, so without", or "as is the microcosm, so is the macrocosm" gives some insight into the dynamics of holistic and/or esoteric traditions. By thoroughly studying and undestanding one aspect of reality, for example within one's self, one can undestand all of outward reality. So, I might self-analyze myself to a degree of self-mastery, and by doing so, come to understand the world without. And vice versa. So if one studies the "heavens", and the movement of celestial bodies, everything that can be learned about has a specific correlate on the earthly realm. This way of thinking is also represented in holographic models of the universe. The holographic image, if dissected, contains knowledge of the whole within each part. Esoterically, knowledge of pieces of reality (which are wholes unto themselves) reveals replicating patterns that reverberate all around us.

The cool thing is we're all completely 100% immersed in Universal Consciousness in each moment--we are just unconscious of it! We are starting to wake up, though--especially people who are sensitive, or idealistic...which many on this board are. We're starting to see that as the drop of water, we're also the ocean. Many of us can see and comprehend understandings/awareness beyond what's generally accepted in society. Sometimes we hope for great leaders to save us, and we don't realize WE are those who can imagine a better way, and who have such visions planted in our hearts--and it's OUR ideas that are making all the difference. Many of our political leaders are not visionary or advanced. We can still change the world by healing our fear and anger within, and by outletting our own potential in the evolutionary scheme of things! Each positive change we make within is a positive change that echoes far and wide, without As within, so without. That's the only way the world will change. Blaming, insulting and otherwise justifying undermining others is about us perpetuating imbalance and brokenness.

The warring factions, whether Islam/Christianity or religion/science, etc, are each imbalanced and broken on their own. By their own inner imbalance, they are magnetized to others who are broken. They need others for conflict for they are each one side of the "broken" coin.

When individuals, groups and factions begin to focus on the darkness within, and on healing/resolving that darkness, they will see that the darkness without, in a similar fashion, is an illusion—a lack-- in need of clarity and/or understanding. Such illusions can be very dangerous, and cause pain, mass suffering and widespread imbalance. Resolving the inner darkness and conflict causes one to automatically resolve outer imbalance and conflict. When outer conflict exists, it indicates existing inner conflict yet to be healed.

At this point, people are generally unable to comprehend this in theory and therefore continue to project their imbalance outward, acting it out, and reaping what they sew.

The key is to change ourselves. If we completely and only focus on changing ourselves, we then also change all of our interactions with others which causes others to respond in new ways. As within, so without. We don't ever have to change another being. By changing ourselves, that naturally inspires and automatically triggers change and growth in others. It's not at all about giving up our beliefs...it's about growing stronger and healthier and having more integrity with our existing beliefs, to the point that we have the ability to also embrace all others. As we learn to synthesize within and it echoes around us without, we see the Aquarian energy. I see this all the time in my life.
