mostly I just need to vent....I work for a company which has been good for me/to me regarding money, benefits and family flexiblity...but it has gotten to the point where the shady tactics are more than annoying and are more apparent than ever. I have always felt bad for clietns who get "duped" by our less than truthful sales reps and have chosen to do right by my clients though it may mean I don't look as good on reports or receive special monetary rewards because I don't hit a certain number. (truth is my colleagues don't either because they are doctoring the numbers at the expense of the client)- Recently I discovered that Senior Management knows that this practice goes on but they to want to look good so they turn a blind eye. THE MOST ABSURD ASPECT OF THIS is that the balance sheet/bottom line doesn't grow...these are "show" numbers and at the end of the day the company is still faced with a flatline or a negative (due to paying out "reward" on unearned "winnings" to internal players.) Thus, shareholder earnings go down and employees who are deserving are left with less a chance for a raise/bonus because shareholders get paid first- FKN corporations....
got a car...got some gas...oh let's get out of here-get out of here fast...
I hope you get this message but your not home...I will be there in just a minute or so...
I want to go but I want to go with you.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. -MT

I've had enough, said enough, felt enough. I'm fine, still in it.
