Armitage and the State Dept: Connect the dots

I know there is flame throwing going on regarding the supposed threats to Pakistan from Assistant Sec of State, Armitage.

Be reminded that it was Armitage that is the one who outed Valerie Plame (ie not the White House) and now was apparently was making threats to other nations that could be construed as blackmail.

Welcome to the State Department!!!

My point is that I have believed that the State Department is one of most un-American agencies in our government, because they are run by beuaracrats that don't change between administrations and have allegiance to the UN more than our own country.

This is one of Powell's best friends and one is his most loyal officials. Maybe Powell being head of the state department was also willing to threaten another country with nukes....you would have to suspect Powell of this before Bush, because of the chain of command.

I am suggesting that world anger at the US begins with the State Department. (Remember leaving Viet Nam?) and all the shit we do in the name of national interest but which ISN"T.

Just think about it.
