It's utterly ridiculous how far out of hand this has gotten.

I don't understand how Obama comes off wrong, he sounds SPOT ON to me. He even ends up stating Joe might be better off under Obama's plan based on what kind of company he has and his particulars.
He tells Joe he could have built his savings QUICKER under Obama's plan to buy this company ....
by the way, Obama discusses the flat tax issue ... for you flat tax proponents ...
But, Obama said the three words out of 6 minutes that got pulled ... "spread the wealth" ... sigh.
then there's the slight problem that we found out Joe's not a plumber, he is in no shape to buy the company, and he donated money to the McCain campaign, so it was a complete stunt (not by the McCain campaign, but by this guy) ... but still ... Obama sets the record straight ...

Thans for posting that. That was the first time I've seen it, and it's apparent to me that Obama was dropping science all over Joe's shiny noggin.
I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but it's hard for me to not think that Joe is some kind of dumbshit.

man fuck I love Bill Maher and I missed that interview with Larry King. Gotta check youtube for it.
Yea I actually did watch it. Olbermann played it on his show a couple nights ago and you're right, Obama was taken way out of context.
Well dick head John McCain brought him up about 20 times during the last debate, and probably over 100 since then during his campaign rallies. It's his way of disguising his tax and economic policies that favor the wealthy. Joe the Plumber, Joe Sixpack (Palin's quote) They're trying to make it sound like they actually care about lower to middle class people. They don't. It's insulting.
yes, thanks for posting this.
