I received this link from a relative and thought it was worth sharing. It’s a speech by Andy Thomson on Suicide Terrorism put on by Richard Dawkins and Rational Response.
It is in three parts each about 28 minutes long, with the third being a Q&A session. Religious people beware, but I found his thoughts interesting on terrorism, suicide and religion. He does know his subject and quotes several references. It’s basically a history of all of the above and how and why it happens.

Meh, it was ok. I didn't find it to be a very sophisticated explanation. Actually, I found his responses to questions of pyschiatry to be answered rather poorly for a psychiatrist. He didn't really answer the question about Scott Atran either, whom I disagree with as well. Either way, it's a step in the right direction and I like Dawkins.
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire
